    Pat chicken thighs dry with paper towels then season both sides with salt black pepper and garlic powder.

    Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium high heat until hot.

    Place chicken thighs skin side down and cook until the skin becomes crispy and golden brown.

    Flip the chicken and continue cooking until fully cooked through and tender.

    Remove chicken from the skillet then add garlic chicken broth cream butter and thyme to the pan.

    Simmer the sauce until slightly thickened then return chicken to the skillet and garnish with parsley before serving.
